It can grow up to 4cm long. any of several carnivorous, marine gastropods of the family Nassidae. The animal itself is white or cream coloured with white speckles, and a flattened head.
It can squirt a paralyzing chemical and digestive enzymes to help break the mollusc down. The resulting 'soup' is then sucked out with a siphon.
